2023 2nd International Student Conference on Multiple Intelligencies (ISCMI 2023) will be held in Medan, Indonesia during November 11 – 12, 2023. ISCMI 2023 is sponsored by Association of Indonesian Accounting Lecturer and host by Universitas Muhamamdiyah Sumatera Utara. It aims to bring together leading academic scientists, researchers and research scholars to exchange and share their experiences and research results on all aspects of fields study. It also provides a premier interdisciplinary platform for researchers, practitioners and educators to present and discuss the most recent innovations, trends, and concerns as well as practical challenges encountered and solutions adopted in the fields of studies.
2023 2nd International Student Conference on Multiple Intelligencies (ISCMI 2023) provides a leading forum for the presentation of new advances and research results in the fields of all Studies. The ISCMI will bring together leading academics researchers, educators, practitioners, regulators and policy-makers in the domain of interest from around the world. Submission Guideline
Request for Submissions
- Official language is English in paper writing and presenting.
- Prospective authors are invited to submit manuscripts reporting original unpublished research and recent developments in the topics related to the conference. It is required that the manuscript follows the standard camera-ready format. Submissions must include title, abstract, keywords, author and affiliation with email address. The paper should not contain page numbers or any special headers or footers.
- Please note that the committee do suggest you to submit the FULL PAPER to review if you would like to either present or publish your paper. One who submits the ABSTRACT will be regarded as a presenter only. As Presenter only, you can deliver a presentation at ISCMI 2023, but the presented manuscript WILL NOT be published but will be included in the conference program. Abstract is necessary to submit. Should you have any concerns, please don't hesitate to contact us.
Review Process
All the papers received will be passed to the program chair who is in charge of the peer review process and will assign at least two suitable technical committee members as reviewers for each paper whose areas of expertise have to match with the topics of the papers. The review comments will be sent back to the program chair who will make decisions about submissions. The conference secretary then will inform the corresponding authors about the review results. The papers which need revisions will be required to be sent back within stipulated time, and only revised papers that pass the second review will be accepted. Please look out for the emails from the conference secretary
Non-Presented Paper (No-Show) Policy:
Any accepted paper included in the final program is expected to have at least one author or qualified proxy attend and present the paper at the conference. If a paper is not presented at the conference, the paper will not be published in the conference proceedings or other public access forums. For poster and demo sessions, if the speaker is not present in front of the poster for most of the time during the poster session, this also implies the paper was not presented.
Page Limit
Each paper should have no less than Five pages normally, including all figures, tables, and references. One regular registration is within Eight Pages. Extra pages will be charged. Provide an abstract of no more than 250 words.
Policy on Plagiarism
We firmly believe that ethical conduct is the most essential virtual of
any academic. Hence any act of plagiarism is a totally unacceptable academic
misconduct and cannot be tolerated. If an author is found to commit an act of
plagiarism, the paper will be rejected at any process.

Payment
1. Complete the Payment: You can pay with credit card or bank transfer; the payment link and bank account information can be found when you click the registration link, which indicated on the notification letter. Update the final paper, payment proof to the online system when you process the registration.

Registration Request
1. When the registration is fully completed and paid, each participant will receive an email of confirmation from the conference secretary.
2. At least one of the authors listed on the accepted paper must pay the registration by the requested registration deadline.
3. A student claiming a student registration must submit: a scanned copy of the student’s ID card or a verification letter of the student’s full-time status from the department head of the student’s current institution or the student’s supervisor. Current school year has to be included and clearly stated in the document. Student registrations are not applicable to postdoctoral fellows. And you should be the First Author of your paper.
4. In a paper with more than one author, all the authors attending the conference must complete their registration individually.

Legal Disclaimer Notice
To ensure that the meeting is carried out smoothly and efficiently in a safe environment, we make the following disclaimers:
First, the participants must wear the conference name tag to enter the conference areas during the entire conference. Individuals not wearing it will not be denied entry. Participants are not allowed to bring their associates or families into the conference areas. If you wish to bring someone, please inform the conference person in charge in advance to obtain a special name tag for whatever event like presentations, breaks or meals.
Second, participants should confirm that they have good physical, mental and psychological preparation to participate in the event. If the participant is under 18 years old, he or she must be accompanied by his or her legal guardian. The conference organizer and associations will not responsible for their safety.
Third, all legal responsibilities and liabilities arising directly or indirectly from participants’ activities during the event shall be borne by the participants themselves.
Fourth, the conference area is public, so participants should take care of their belongings at all times. All losses related to personal property will not be the responsibility of the event organizers and associations.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
If the participants request cancellation and refund due to personal reasons, the following refund policy applies.
* 30 days ahead of the conference: 70% of payment refund
* 20-30 days ahead of the conference: 50% of payment refund
* Within 10 days ahead of the conference: no refund
Cancellation and refund request must be made formally via email
* The organizing committees reserves the right to change the dates and place of the conference due to force majeure.
* Losses thus incurred from the force majeure events shall not be liabled and refunds policy shall not apply as well.
No Show Policy
For each accepted paper, at least one author or qualified proxy needs to register for attending the conference, and present the paper in the assigned session, either in an oral or as a poster. Publisher reserves the right to exclude a paper from distribution after the conference, if the paper is not presented by the author at the conference. No refund of the paid fees may be claimed by the no show author.
Note: For poster sessions, if the speaker is not present in front of the poster for most of the time during the poster session, this implies "no show".
The presenter should start all necessary procedures and approvals (e.g., travel funding, visa application) after receiving notification that the paper is accepted for the conference.
If the authors have, or anticipate, unforeseen circumstances endangering or preventing the presentation, they should notify the conference secretary as soon as possible with proof of their restriction. Substitute presenters may be possible or, depending on conference resources, other accommodations may be available, such as a remote presentation or pre-recorded video.
HISTORY
2023 International Student Conference on Multiple Intelligencies (ISCMI 2023) was planned to be held in Association of Indonesian Accounting Lecturers, Indonesia during Nopember 11-12, 2023. In consideration of the health and safety of everyone, pervasive travel restrictions as well as most author’s appeals, we are forced to convert ISCMI 2023 into an hybrid conference. We were looking forward to seeing everyone in Medan, Indonesia, but we are excited for the opportunity to innovate by creating an engaging virtual conference that will be rewarding for both presenters and attendees.
The conference chair, Dr. Arfan Ikhsan Lubis., SE., M.Si., CATr has given warmly welcome to all attendees by online. The organizing committee has invited Dr. Widia Astuti., SE., M.Si., Ak., CA., QIA., CPA from The Universitas Sumatera Utara, North Sumatera.
